Privacy Policy
What data we receive
Sign-in is handled by Steam (OpenID). We only receive your SteamID64, public nickname and avatar URL. We never see your Steam password — authentication happens on Steam’s side.
What we store
We store: SteamID64, nickname, avatar, registration and last login dates, plus your favourites and price-tracking settings. We do not request or store email, phone or payment data.
How data is used
Account data supports your profile, favourites, price tracking and notifications. Usage and diagnostic data help us understand which pages are used and investigate errors.
Third-party services
Steam handles sign-in. Our servers fetch item data from marketplaces. When enabled, the analytics and monitoring services listed in the cookie policy receive usage and technical data.
Data deletion
To delete your account and all related data, email info@skinory.io — we will remove it within 7 days.
Steam inventory: what we store and how to delete it
Checking someone else's inventory accumulates nothing: only the latest value measurement stays for the leaderboard. Daily value snapshots, per-item history and profit are stored only if the owner turned tracking on. Value snapshots live 400 days, per-item history is deleted 30 days after tracking is switched off, and leaderboard rows without tracking or a public page are cleaned after 180 days. The public inventory page opens only with the owner's explicit consent. The "Hide my inventory" switch in the profile removes the profile from the leaderboard, closes the public page and deletes the stored history; without signing in, write to info@skinory.io — we delete by SteamID within 7 days after confirmation through a Steam login.
Browser extension
The extension sends item names and search queries to skinory.io to retrieve prices. Submitting the inventory form opens Skinory with the SteamID or profile URL you entered; the extension does not save this input. It does not read cookies or browsing history. Price responses are cached for 10 minutes. These requests follow the same privacy practices as other site requests.
Your watchlist is stored in this browser until you remove it. Saved item names are sent to skinory.io when you refresh prices.
When you click to import your own case-site history, up to 100 available drops are transferred only to the Skinory tab in this browser. This history is not sent to or stored on our server. The source site’s session token is used only on that site and is not passed to Skinory.
