Why is the AWP Dragon Lore so expensive?
The Dragon Lore belongs to the Cobblestone Collection and is valued by collectors. Supply, wear and the ordinary or Souvenir variant all affect its price. Remaining souvenir packages and eligible trade-ups mean the number of copies must not be described as permanently fixed. The item page shows available asking prices.
Where Dragon Lores come from
The skin belongs to The Cobblestone Collection. Existing souvenir packages can still be opened, so a halt in new package distribution would not by itself freeze the number of souvenir skins. Package supply and the number of opened skins are different quantities.
Eligible trade-up contracts are another source of ordinary copies. Check the input collections, possible outputs and float calculation in the trade-up calculator. An ordinary-item contract does not produce a Souvenir Dragon Lore, and profitability cannot be inferred from the output name alone.
Why souvenirs are in a class of their own
Exact float, the Souvenir variant, stickers and listing conditions may differ. Compare the details of the actual copies rather than assuming a fixed premium from their wear labels.
Demand and liquidity
Compare the same wear, variant and a similar float range. Collector interest does not guarantee a buyer or a selling deadline, and the number of listings is not a completed-sales count.
Use the available price history with its date and source. Distinguish asking prices, buy offers and completed transactions; the lowest general listing does not appraise a copy with unusual float or stickers.
- Check the actual float and the finish limits on the item page; do not infer rarity from the wear label alone.
- StatTrak does not exist for the Dragon Lore; a listing that claims it is wrong.
- Inspect the actual copy and its stickers before applying a general catalogue price.
Preguntas y respuestas
Will the Dragon Lore keep rising?
Skinory does not forecast prices. Demand, supply and game or trading-rule changes can affect the market. Limited supply does not guarantee future appreciation.
Is a trade-up to the Dragon Lore profitable?
Profit is not guaranteed. Check eligible inputs, their cost, outcome probabilities, output float and the realizable sale price after fees. An asking price for the output is not a completed sale.
Why do copies with the same wear differ so much in price?
Souvenir stickers, their signatures and the exact float. A Minimal Wear copy at 0.07 is priced close to Factory New, one at 0.14 close to Field-Tested.
